Team Lead - Harvey Meek
After graduating from college, Harvey joined the military where he served as a pilot with an operational fighter squadron in Europe, followed by a tour with a pilot training unit. During his military career, he held positions as Flight Safety Officer, F-18 Maintenance Test Pilot, Senior Instructor Pilot, Instrument Check Pilot, and Flight Commander. Harvey has over 30 years of global flying experience, holds Airline Transport Pilot Licenses in three countries, and at present, is a Captain with a major international airline. He has flown a wide variety of military and civilian types, ranging from light aircraft, to F-18 Hornets, to the 747-400. Presently however, he most enjoys flying the Extra 300L.
Right Wing - Dave Monroe BIO
Dave was born in Minneapolis, MN growing up in an airline family. He soloed at the age of 16 and obtained his Private Pilots License on his 17th birthday. Dave holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and is a current international B-787 Captain for a major airline. Dave is type rated in the SA227, B-727, MD80, B-757 B-767 and B-787. Dave is a Check Airman, Certified Flight Instructor, Advanced aerobatic competition pilot and FAA Designated Pilot Examiner. Dave, graduated from National University in San Diego CA, and has over 29,500 hours of flying time.
Left Wing - Paul Hornick BIO
Paul has 30 years of commercial flight experience with over 10,000 hours of flight time in aircraft from a Piper Cub to an Airbus A300. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, Flight Engineer Certificate, and a Gold Seal Flight Instructor Certificate. Paul is type rated on the A300, CE500, CE560XL, G200, and the HS125. Paul has held positions during his airline tenure in n the Engineering Test Flight Department, Flight Standards Department, and Flight Crew Training Department. He is currently for a major aerospace and energy systems corporation.
Slot - Gerry Molidor BIO
Gerry is a 39 year veteran of a major Chicago Airline and is a Line Check Captain on the B-777 flying globally. He is type rated on the Lear Jet, Lockheed Jetstar, DC-3, B727, B737, B757, B767, B-777, is a Certified Flight Instructor and former, 3 time, US Advanced Aerobatic Champion. He also was Captain of the Gold Medal Winning 1997 US Advanced Aerobatic Team. He is a President Emeritus and current director at the International Aerobatic Club. He is a graduate of St. Louis University – Parks College and has over 30,000 hours of flying time.
